In this updated GTA 5 Online Money Making Guide, we are going to be showing you the brand new, easiest ways and best missions to make money solo quickly in the game right now!
GTA 5 Online Best Money Solo Missions & Methods
So, yeah, there are a lot of cool items in GTA Online that we can purchase, right? Let’s just go down to Warstock Cache and Carry, I mean, look at all these very, very expensive items that we can purchase in the game, costing multiple, multiple millions of dollars. So you’re going to need a decent amount of money in order to purchase a lot of these cool vehicles in your GTA 5 account. But a lot of people, we have realized, just really don’t know how to make a lot of money. A lot of people just waste time doing the wrong things in GTA 5 Online. A lot of them just sit there and like, “How in the world am I going to make even more money so I can purchase these cool items?” And, well, there’s a much easier way to do that. So, here we will show you the ultimate guide to making money fast in GTA Online. So, without further ado, let’s jump into it.
Method #1: Weekly Time Trial – Storm Drain
So, coming in for the very first GTA 5 money maker method, and that is by beating this week’s brand new time trial.
Now, if you aren’t aware, time trials can often be very difficult or take a few minutes to complete. However, this week’s time trial is the fastest time trial ever added to GTA V Online. It has a part time of only 38 seconds and, as you guys can see on screen, will be known as Storm Drain.
Now, go do these time trials on motorbikes ’cause you can just pull a wheelie and increase your speed very, very quickly. However, because this time trial is only 38 seconds and all we’re doing is driving down the storm drain, most of you guys can also complete this very, very easily in any of your fastest vehicles.
Just to prove to you guys how easy this time trial is, we decided to use one of the cheapest motorbikes in the game – the Bati 801, which only costs you around 18k, and it’s nowhere near the fastest motorbike. However, as long as you are able to pull wheelies every few seconds to increase the speed, you will be able to beat this time trial extremely easily on my very first run.
With this method, you will be earning a very nice 100k for something that only takes you guys 38 seconds. You really have no reason to complain.
Method #2: HSW Time Trial – North Chumash (Next-Gen Only)
Now, if you play on PS5. Xbox Series, or the enhanced version for PC, we also get another time trial, of course, known as the HSW Time Trial. And this week’s brand new HSW Time Trial will be known as North Chumash. It will have a part time of 3 minutes 49 seconds, and for beating the HSW Time Trial, you’re going to be earning a very nice 250k.
Now, as you can see on screen, this time trial will start over on the dirt paths leading towards Mount Gordo. However, once you guys make your way off the dirt paths, you are going to end up on the highway, making this time trial extremely easy to do.
Now, a big tip we are going to give you to make this time trial a walk in the park is: right at the start of the time trial, you want to go ahead and start the time trial, then press start and set a waypoint to the finish line. Then restart the time trial, just so you have a clear GPS route to go ahead and follow, so you know exactly what turn to take to get onto the highway.
So, fast forwarding this gameplay, once you go underneath the bridge and come off the highway, you want to take this left shortcut rather than following the actual dirt path down, as it is going to cut off 10 seconds of the time trial. We beat it with a time of 3 minutes 28 seconds, giving us over 20 seconds to spare, just proving how easy this time trial really is.
Method #3: Super Yacht Missions – Double Money & RP
However, coming in for the next best money-making method is by grinding out the double money and double RP that Rockstar Games are currently offering on the Super Yacht Life missions.
As we are sure a lot of you guys are aware, there are six different super yacht missions. However, only one of them is the best-paying one, and that will be the mission known as Bon Voyage.
The best part is, there are multiple ways that you can increase your payout by playing this mission in the right way. Now, to give you guys a heads-up on what you have to do in this mission very quickly: it’s basically just defending your yacht from boats and helicopters. Very easy and very straightforward. It’s almost like more of a survival than an actual mission, as you never have to leave the boat. You don’t have to hack any equipment. You don’t have to drive anywhere.
You can literally go AFK and get your friends to go ahead and beat the mission for you if you want to be really lazy. However, another great thing about this mission is that it can also be done 100% solo. However, you will have the opportunity to increase your payout and RP by inviting some more players into the mission.
The most important part of increasing your payout is going to be worked out by the time you spend on the mission. So, we put this graph together showing you how much percent of the max pay you will be earning depending on how many minutes are spent in your game:
- 2–3 minutes: 25% of the max payout
- 3–4 minutes: 37.5%
- 4–6 minutes: 50%
- 8–10 minutes: 70%
- 10–12 minutes: 80%
- 12–15 minutes: 90%
- 15+ minutes: 100% max payout
You can also earn a 20% RP bonus by completing this mission with at least two players in the same crew. If you don’t have an active GTA V crew, stay tuned.
You can earn an additional 10% RP bonus by completing it with at least two players on your friends list. So if your two teammates are crew members AND friends, that’s a total 30% RP bonus.
Also, if you’re playing on Free Aim, each player earns an extra 25% RP bonus. So just from those bonuses alone, you can increase RP by up to 55%.
The final multiplier is based on how many players are in your lobby:
- 2 players: +10% money and RP
- 3 players: +20%
- 4 players: +30%
So even if you’re soloing, it’s worth inviting others and just letting them sit AFK.
As you guys can see on screen, for completing Bon Voyage in 5 minutes with 3 other players (none of whom were friends or crew), I still earned over $62.000 and 4.000 RP. That was less than 50% payout. With 15 minutes and crew/friend bonuses, you could earn over 100k.
Method #4: Adversary Mode – Tiny Racers (Double Money & RP)
Next up, grind out the double money and RP on the adversary mode Tiny Racers. When Rockstar released Tiny Racers years ago, I wasn’t the biggest fan. But now, in 2025. it’s surprisingly fun, especially if you like classic, bird’s-eye-view GTA. It’s basically top-down racing, and you can pick up weapons like bombs and rockets. If first place pulls away, second place explodes.
Unlike contact missions, adversary modes don’t pay more for more players. Whether you have 2 or 4 players, the payout is the same. But it is based on time spent in the match. If you spend 15+ minutes, you can earn $60.000 per round, with win streak bonuses on top. So if you play multiple rounds back to back and win, you can earn great money and RP.
Method #5: Triple Money on Taxi Work
Finally, the next best method is grinding out the triple money Rockstar is offering on Taxi Work.
Yes, it’s a grind—but there are multiple payout factors:
Base fare
- Short trips (<6km): ~$1.000–$2.500
- Long trips vary based on pickup/dropoff (100+ locations)
- Base fare increases slightly after each completed fare (up to 10 times)
Tips
- Start at ~$1.040 and can go up to $2.000
Reduced by:
- Driving recklessly (–$45 every few seconds)
- Driving too slowly (–$32 every 30 seconds)
- Damaging the taxi (can reduce tips to $0)
To maximize earnings, drive fast, safe, and smooth. With triple money, a single trip can earn $15.000 in 3 minutes, with no cooldown between jobs.
It’s a chill, nostalgic way to make money, especially if you’re bored of heists and businesses.
And while all of these methods can be done solo, if you need the fastest way to get enough money for your game, welcome to check the best deal for GTA 5 Money on AOEAH.COM.
